Me and the guy in a summer t-shirt so no pockets. But it's not summer yet, so I mostly wear a blazer shirt. I like to keep a flashlight, mechanical pencil and pen in my left pocket and glasses in my right pocket. Sometimes things don't stay very safe in bags. So I bought that. Dan! Is working. The clip stays in the pocket quite well, and the thickness of the material in the block helps keep pens and other items secure. I don't know what I'll be doing in a few months, but so far I'm pretty happy with these items
