Finally, an easy to use and affordable coffee maker for those of us who are tired of expensive, short-lived coffee makers. The display is not too bright at night and very easy to read during the day. The programming buttons are simple and very easy to use for people prone to technology problems (spouse). Today there was a power outage and it took less than a minute for the coffee maker to return to its previous programmed state. The last time I had a power cut with my previous expensive coffee maker (often happens in the woods) the display never returned to a clear brightness level, I had to wait until dark to reprogram it and it took time much longer than it should have. I threw away that expensive coffee maker and replaced it with this one. So if something happens to this machine, I can just buy another one. In fact, I could replace this machine 3 times for the same price as any of these machines without sacrificing quality.
