Review on 🔥 Rowenta DW5280 Professional Steam Iron - 1725 Watts, Stainless Steel Soleplate, Blue by Marco Mooney

Let me start by saying that I am a full time seamstress and need a good steam iron for my job. I can't afford to damage the buyer's item. Also, I have ONLY bought Rowenta irons for 20 years. I've always had problems with leaks even sitting up straight, but they've always come after owning an iron for years and often not paying attention to what type of water I'm using. Given how often I use my iron, I assume it will wear out and I don't mind buying a new one every few years. But I don't expect my iron to leak when it comes right out of the box. This iron has been charged and tested. OK. Is working. I put it on the towel my old one was sitting on. The next morning I turn it on as I start work and when I unplug the retractable cord water rushes out and I notice that the tank that was full last night is almost empty and the towel is on where he sits is soaked. I'm SUPER annoyed that I have to make a special trip to get the damn thing back. I'm a single mom of five and I run a business and we're in the middle of a pandemic so I order from Revain and they have my stuff shipped right to my door. I don't have time for that and am now looking for a new company to buy my irons from. 😡
