Not Worth the Investment

My analysis of this iron showed that it just couldn't hold up to daily use. While it has a sleek design, it doesn't perform as well as expected. The iron heats unevenly and doesn't glide smoothly over fabrics. Its 1725 watts of power seem to go to waste. Overall, disappointed in this purchase.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Poor performance, heats unevenly

Bought NEW but used!

For quilting I needed an iron with more steam than my old Sunbeam. This Rowenta had all the features I wanted and it was described as having better gliding so I ordered it. When I opened the box, I didn't look too closely and quickly put Rowenta to work. It took longer than I'm used to to heat up, but once it did I couldn't wait to try the steam boost on a stubbornly wrinkled fabric. I pressed the steam boost button and was shocked to see white particles spattering all over my black fabric…

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • No mold required

I can't tell you how unhappy I am 😑

Let me start by saying that I am a full time seamstress and need a good steam iron for my job. I can't afford to damage the buyer's item. Also, I have ONLY bought Rowenta irons for 20 years. I've always had problems with leaks even sitting up straight, but they've always come after owning an iron for years and often not paying attention to what type of water I'm using. Given how often I use my iron, I assume it will wear out and I don't mind buying a new one every few years. But I don't expect…

Pros
  • Sturdy workmanship
Cons
  • Nothing here
