This is an attractive, durable stool that weighs less than a pound. It is suitable for all ages and can carry up to 150 pounds. It has rubber handles on the legs and a rough, non-slip surface on the top of the stool. There are about four or five different step stools in my house and I can definitely say that this is the nicest one I have and many others were much more expensive than this one. The price for the value received is excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending this chair to friends and family.
