Review on Powerful and Versatile: Panasonic NI-E660SR Dry and Steam Iron in MEDIUM, White/Purple by Matt Kim

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The Panasonic iron has died again - for about the 4th time.

I love these irons but be warned they only last a little over a year and if you haven't bought the protection offered you will need to start looking for a new iron around 14 -15 months. I quilt and love them because they are light, heat well, steam well. I guess I'll have to look for another brand, but I also have a new one in my closet that was waiting in line. And so it happened. 14 months after his sister Eisen died again. I use 1/2 water and 1/2 distilled water which is recommended for most irons but it doesn't seem to matter. Panasonic does not specify what to use. Panasonic is a brand I have been going to for years due to the quality I have found in many of the small home appliances they sell. Very sad.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Older model
