Well made monitor

The SVANTTO portable monitor is durable and well made. I is also easy to use and comes with all the cables you need to set it up. Like other portable monitors I've tried, it requires one cable for power and one for data. Data can be transferred via the USB cable on Sdome computers. Others require HDMI. With my laptop, I have to use a USB-AC cable for power and HDMI for data. There is also a DC input and cable. According to the manual, it can be set up with your phone, using a DC-in for power and a USB-C to USB-C connector (also included) for data. I haven't tried it myself. I'll be using this primarily with a mini computer (and in my experience it's easiest to set it up with a desktop computer, with a mini device falling into that category). Really all you need to know to set it up is that it needs a power source (DC or USB if you have an extra port) and one for data, either USB C to USB C or USB C to HDMI. The monitor has a metal body and is therefore durable. It's also thin and light. It offers more control than most portable monitors and delivers higher brightness as they describe. I didn't realize how big the problem was until I tried a small portable DVD player with poor/low brightness. I must have been lucky up to that point in not realizing this could be a big problem. This is not a problem with this monitor. It also comes with a screen protector and a small kickstand (which is actually a case for another monitor). It's magnetic and comes as a screen case, but I'd buy a case for it if you're using it as a portable one. The stand itself is adequate (and no different than what I've seen on other monitors) but the quality of the monitor is higher than most. Build quality in particular is very good and you can control the brightness and color temperature and it says it can be used as a split screen (haven't tried it). By including everything you need and providing clear instructions, they make it super easy even if you've never used a portable monitor before.
