I am very happy with my purchase of the Coby MIDI 7065-8 tablet. It looks good and comes with a small manual that many will find helpful. I am very impressed with the responsiveness of this tablet. The touchscreen is very responsive and the 1.2GHz dual-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM makes it easy to open and use multiple apps. Setup was a breeze and I had it up and running and connected to my wifi in less than 10 minutes out of the box. I've always considered myself a power user when it comes to technology and as such this little device didn't disappoint. While not a more expensive tablet, it still has all the features I was looking for, particularly an expansion slot for more storage. As long as I'm using the cloud, I'm tired of being completely constrained by it. It is worth noting that there is no rear camera on this tablet. This wasn't a problem for me as I don't think a tablet is the best device for taking photos. I bought an OTG cable to use my USB drives and had no trouble getting them to work. This small addition gives this device almost unlimited storage capacity. Very beautiful. One last thing, the Google Play Store worked flawlessly for me. I found a few applications that are incompatible with this tablet, but very few. Most of these were very specific apps, like my little town bank app, and I suspect they might not be compatible with tablets, and even more expensive ones. none of these problems. The device connects quickly, with good durability, and stays connected. In conclusion, if you are like me and want to get the best bang for your buck then by all means buy this device. On the other hand, if you're more concerned about what name is on your electronics, then this tablet probably isn't for you. Just remember, you should never judge a book by its cover.********************45 DAYS************ **** ***** * **** So I thought I'd come back and share with you my level of satisfaction now that I've had this tablet for 45 days. So far I am completely satisfied with this device. He did everything I asked of him with no problems. The only thing I encountered was when trying to update the Kindle app. It said there was an earlier version and that the signatures didn't match. I couldn't uninstall it because it was a system app. I still haven't found a workaround, but to be honest I didn't try very hard. The version of the Kindle app on my Coby works great for reading books, so upgrading isn't that big of a deal and certainly doesn't change my high regard for this device. I asked myself if I would buy this device again and the answer was yes. You can't beat the amount of features this device offers, even at a higher price point. If you're looking for a cheap tablet that works well and has features that some of the more expensive devices don't have, then this is the tablet for you.
