Buy them, you won't regret it. I traded my diaper genius for a stylish Ubbi diaper pail, but regretted it when the stench took to a new level (and not in a good way)! I liked that you can use any bin liner at Ubbi, but I can tell you regular bin liners, even Febreeze scented ones, didn't help the smell at all! Every time I opened the bucket to put a new diaper in, and especially when it was full and it was time to empty it, the ooze was so strong it filled the room and stayed there for 15-20 minutes seemed to hang. My husband found this unbearable and asked to go back to the old spirit who was much better at keeping the smell inside, but after spending so much on Ubbi I decided to try these little pouches to see if they made the day could save. I've been told YES, they work wonders! I would highly recommend trying these out. I have two in the bucket now, one on the bottom, the other taped to the lid, and they started working right away. No more whining, blaming the dog for the nursery smelling of farts, or fake sniffing thinking the baby is going to poop again. I can't wait to try them on a smelly pair of sneakers next time.
