I love this diaper pail. We used to use a regular trash can until we started getting solids when the smell was too strong. This container really blocks odors and is easy to use. The patented bag fillers are insanely expensive and a complete rip off. You can make them yourself. Simply purchase quality Arm and Hammer Wrap bin liners, tighten the drawstring, insert into the refill ring and secure. Works great, holds MUCH more diapers, and is cheap.

I love this trash can. At first I was a bit surprised that the pedal only works to open and then I have to close it by hand. But since you're changing a diaper, you still have to wash your hands afterwards, so touching the trash can isn't that big of a deal. Let's start with the important stuff. Even after several days of full loading, there is no odor in the vicinity of the bucket. However, we haven't used our original lever and hammer deodorant insert yet. Is it expensive. DO NOT believe the Amazon "frequently purchased with" strip that appears upon purchase.
