Convenient, affordable and reliable compared to standard Nintendo joysticks.

These joycons are a very good alternative to the Nintendo joycons. Not only are they larger, but they also have a more ergonomic grip, making it much easier to hold the system in your hands without straining your fingers to keep it upright. The trigger and shoulder buttons are very large, which can be nice for people with big fingers. The programmable buttons on the back don't really get in the way of gameplay and are completely optional, as is the 8BitDo Pro 2 controller. These joysticks also have a turbo function, I personally don't use it, but that feature is a bonus for those who like them . When I first opened the box, I was surprised at how large it was compared to standard Joycons. Combined with the connector, it looks like a beefy console controller. It is very suitable for people with large hands. I have several complaints about these joycons. First, how the keys feel when I press them. They lack a certain bite that's uncomfortable to play with, but maybe that's because I haven't fully gotten to know them yet. The size of the joycons is also surprisingly large. I have slightly large hands and I can definitely imagine someone with smaller hands than me struggling to hold them due to their size. I have red and blue joysticks that Binbok also made and one thing that bothered me about them was the way the LEDs glowed through the plastic case. It doesn't really affect gameplay, but can be a little distracting or undesirable for people who care. The same problem with the LED lighting occurs here with these joycons, but to a lesser and more acceptable extent. tl; drPros: - Cheaper and better quality than standard joycons. - Suitable for docking station. - Larger and more ergonomic joycons. - Turbo and macro buttons. for those who like these features. - Improved joysticks that don't drift as easily. - Ability to activate the switch by pressing the home button twice. - Can be used wirelessly and has excellent battery life. - Gyro support and dual vibration for an enhanced tactile experience. Cons: - May be too big for some people. - Buttons are not as "clicky" as some would like. - LED indicators showing the connection can shine through the plastic case. .- Will not fit in most standard Switch carrying cases.
