These book corners are very beautiful. The metal is a decent weight - they seem a bit more fragile than some of the other angles I've bought. On the plus side, they're reliably square (90-degree corners) so they fit nicely in the corners of my book. However, the corners are also very sharp and very sharp. I cut my arm pretty badly trying to catch a falling book. Since then I have not used these corners in any other book. I'm seriously considering removing them from the two books I used them on, but I don't know if I can do that without damaging the covers. I've tried to show clear pictures of the corners so you can judge for yourself. I would definitely not recommend them for travel books that you intend to carry around a lot. I would be concerned that the corners would stick out through your tote bag.
