Those corners are a bit annoying unless they are bent. They are quite thin, and when they are opened, it is not the hand that bows, but the face. After some back and forth I was able to get it working. My problem might be that my suitcase is made of thicker leather.

I used to order several different metal corners - I use them for homemade leather notepads. They are pretty cute and I love their design. They clog easily and won't slip when you clog them. (Unlike the other batches of different ones I have.) They will be a long time before they run out, but I would order them again. The price was very good.

These book corners are very beautiful. The metal is a decent weight - they seem a bit more fragile than some of the other angles I've bought. On the plus side, they're reliably square (90-degree corners) so they fit nicely in the corners of my book. However, the corners are also very sharp and very sharp.
