It took me forever to figure this out, but through research I found that just because it's a higher class and (supposedly) faster write speed doesn't mean it's better in any way. I bought this for my new GoPro a few years ago and it never worked. I thought it was my GoPro, but after returning the device and the GoPro giving me intermittent problems for years, I realized it was probably this card. Got class 2, formatted and put into my GoPro, works great without that video distortion. I tested the write speed of this card on my laptop versus the same Class 2 and it's not noticeably faster by any means. Basically it's a special card that's somehow made not to work with probably a lot of devices, including GoPro. From now on I think I know that "the best" isn't really the best.
