These straps were not enough even for the summer. They tear and break. We've had other straps that hold tarpaulins on trailers that have lasted for years. It didn't take 6-8 months. I would rate the belts zero stars if I could. Look for something different. Spend a little more and buy something that will last a long time. This really is one of those products where you get what you pay for!
