I bought this desk to use when I work at my partner's house with my laptop in bed. It's surprisingly thick and roomy - it fits my 15-inch laptop and has enough room for a small notepad. I appreciate the little slots for pens, phones, and drinks. I'm not sure I'll actually use the drinks chute if I use the table in bed. The table is sturdy but be aware that it can move around a bit when using it in bed. (like all laptop desks) - probably won't happen if you're using it on the floor or a more stable surface. Overall I think it's really good value for money, love the small slots and perfect for using with a laptop!
