I would give less than one star if I could. We purchased Arlo Q Plus for our retail store in May 2017. We bought the Q Plus at a higher price because we needed maximum reliability. The fact that it's AC powered and we used a wired ethernet connection should be the most reliable, right? Not so! This camera is the most unreliable and useless purchase we've made in a long time, and it landed in the most important area - security. It gets blocked regularly with no sign - the LED is on and the camera is clearly working to keep us safe. However, the camera does not record anything and of course nothing is available in the cloud storage. We are not alone in this buggy operation. Read the Arlo Q and Q Plus support forums - there are many people complaining about the exact same crashes with no response from Arlo. You cannot restart it from the app. The only way to reset it is to physically unplug it and start over by plugging it back in. Then everything is fine for a day or a week. We've had three security situations since we installed the camera. One of them was an apparent stalker who annoyed the cashier. When the police arrived we went to the camera to show them the suspect. Guess what - locked up! There was also another unsecured passerby's check - locked up without a video. The last one stole from the shelf in front of the camera. Again – you guessed it – locked without recording. Now let's set the camera's power on a timer so that it turns off and resets every day. What stupidity to do a decent job. Stay away from Arlo products unless you are using them as an expensive toy or a dummy camera.
