I was looking for a modern turntable to replace my old and beloved Fisher turntable from decades ago. After doing a little research, I realized that I needed the most analog player. That means no Bluetooth or USB connectivity to me. I didn't want additional electronics adding noise to my playback. You would think that a turntable without these things would come down in price, but I've found that's not always the case. I also wanted a weighted, adjustable tonearm, wooden base, belt drive, manual lever, anti-skate adjustment, and a quality stylus. Although there are some (not many) options that meet these needs. I found them all a bit more expensive. I'm on a budget so I was looking for the best bang for my buck. When I discovered the angel horn player, I couldn't believe it. Here was a turntable that had everything I was looking for and cost between $100 and $150 less than its closest competitors. When I saw it came with the Audio Technica 3600l, a highly regarded stylus, from what I've read and heard I made the purchase. It came almost ready to play right out of the box. After hooking up the anti-skating, adding a cover and hooking up my amp, I was done and put my first record on it. Wow! The sound from my new speakers (also recently purchased) was fantastic. It was clear, precise and just plain nice to hear. The presentation was rich, dynamic and immediately enjoyable. I love everything about this player. That looks great. The walnut finish is a real eye-catcher. I found everything I was looking for in this player and at a great price. Five stars
