This battery is awesome! The battery ships with all the necessary tools for installation. I had the new battery in and charging within about 15 minutes. I'm still shocked at how much better performance this battery has. I'm a sales rep and spend all day on the road. It's nice to know I can leave my charging cord at home and have plenty of juice to last. I would highly recommend upgrading your MacBook Air with this battery.

For $40, this battery is less than half price from MacSales or Ifixit. The capacity is >100% (8128mAh compared to 8000mAh at 100%); the battery life is better than OEM and lasts pretty much the entire day. The manufacture date is about 1.2 years old but the battery seems to be in good condition and the drain rate seems more than acceptable. Hopefully this will last at least a few years, and for the price, that would be well worth it to breathe new life in an old dog.Highly recommended.

I bought this battery because my current battery life was consistently low, lasting only about four hours when surfing the internet (without video). However, this battery does not have much better battery life despite being a supposedly new battery (which should last up to 9 to 12 hours). A few weeks ago, I installed this in my mid-2013 MacBook Air. Installation was a breeze except for the fact that the screwdrivers packaged with the battery were basically crap. Battery was new with either 0 or 1 cycle on it. Included tools were of good quality. I've used the battery for a couple of weeks now with no issues. I went through 3 other vendors whose batteries were crap and ended up returning all of them before getting this one. I recommend this vendor.

Battery arrived well-packed and with approximately 50% charge. Easy to install with the 2 screwdrivers included in the box. Initial "in-the-laptop" charge to full capacity was minimal in time. Although the actual power specs are slightly less than listed on the product page, the differences seem insignificant in daily use. I do think the unit could be priced $10 less to make it a good value.Delivery could have arrived earlier, as it sat in the local UPS warehouse / truck for 2 1/2 days.

My wife's mac air died it won't turn on, she was going to take it into the shop and have someone look at it and fix it. I just youtubed how to replace mac battery. Then I ordered from E EGOWAY because it has the most 5 stars reviews. The shipping was fast, the packaging was nice, and the installation was easy. I don't know why people will take it to a shop when they can DIY, it was fast and easy.

I received this battery fo my MacBook Air on 12/23/20. After installed my computer shut down automatically at about 30% battery charge and it won’t be able to start without connecting the power cord, just same as my old battery. I was not sure if the problem was from my computer or due to the (defected) battery. I sent an email to the supplier through Walmart with no respond. And the condition getting worse and worse , my computer even shut off automatically at close to 60% battery power around

Went into my friend's old 2012 Macbook air I believe. Now that it has been a few months he still tells me the battery lasts him more than it used to. his old battery was completely shot barely lasting him 2 hours. Got first item with missing screw drivers and open box of the battery. Requested for replacement and installed it working perfectly with good battery life.

Ordered this is October, worked well compared to the stock battery in my 2013 macbook air. Didn't need a new computer but my battery was running out in about 3-4 hours which was originally closer to 12-14 hours. Changed to this battery, never had the charge of the stock battery but lasted about 8 hours for the first 3-4 months, however about a month ago noticed a dramatic drop. Now a full charge will only last about an hour.

I was skeptical -- having been burned with grey market products -- but this battery is great. Charges quickly and holds the charge. Brilliant after the last six months with an aging 2014 battery. Installation took 15 minutes. Watch the video and it's dead easy. This battery costs about $50 or so. Simply Mac wanted $130 for the battery and $40 to put it in (again, all of 15 minutes work). Plus, they were sending it to Apple and said it would take 12 weeks. This purchase was a no-brainer.

Fits perfectly but was expecting more battery life from daily use. It’s definitely better than dead battery but stays for a day and half with minimal use. Nothing compared to original Apple batteries.

I ordered this battery on December 15, 2019. It's now Dec 2020, and my laptop has been dying at a 75% charge. I replaced my charging cable to see if that was the problem, but even with a new charger the battery completely drains within 20 mins.Update: I contacted the company and they were able to resolve my issues with the battery. I found the kit had everything needed for the installation and installation went smoothly. I've had it for several months now and I'm pleased with the length of time of use I get from each use.

I purchased this battery for my MacBook Air (13 in Early 2015) model and it works GREAT! I looked at youtube and installed MYSELF in about 3 minutes! I saved money too because Apple is not fully opened and I would have had to make an appointment with a vendor of their choosing and wait almost two weeks to be seen. So far, I have not had ANY issues! Ans I did not get paid to say this either!

The guys at the "genius bar" wanted me to leave my laptop with them for 3 or 4 days just to change the battery. No thanks - this was perfect. Watch a youtube video before you do it - super easy.

I just watched a YouTube on how to install. Installation took about 7 minutes. I appreciate that the battery came with the screwdrivers. I installed it about a month ago and so far it’s great! I was going to spend lord knows how much going to the Apple store and figured I could do this myself for a fraction of the cost.
