I bought this battery because my current battery life was consistently low, lasting only about four hours when surfing the internet (without video). However, this battery does not have much better battery life despite being a supposedly new battery (which should last up to 9 to 12 hours). Even when barely using the internet (mostly working on Word), with screen dimmed and all other dongles out and Bluetooth off, the battery is only lasting me less than 5 hours at a time after installation. Disappointed as I really needed a battery life of at least 9 hours since I have to travel a lot during the day and don't always have access to a charging port.
