Before I make a harsh statement it should be noted that I:* Used EVERY USB port on the device while running 3 screens* Was using the SSD enclosureBUT obviously all this should have been accounted for, or the device wouldn't have had it.It gave out on me after 90 days and started making a squealing noise.Also prior to the failure, it would have an extremely delayed effect waking the screens back up when the computer went to sleep. It can only output one 4k/2k output, all other outputs will be 1080p.So if you have two 2k monitors, $100 docking station will only give one 2k and the other will be 1080.So the answer to the question "So will this work with my dual 2k monitor set up" is yes but one/two will be 1080p

I purchased this device for use with an HP Zbook to extend the number of monitors and USB ports (for keyboard and mouse). The device works well -- works as advertised -- and I would recommend the product for the price.

Great product, plug and play out of the box. I plugged 3 monitors into it - two Displayport and 1 VGA, plus a mouse and keyboard. All were recognized instantly by my computer and immediately working. The size is small, maybe only the thickness of a pack of cards and twice as long, so huge improvement from my previous much larger docking station. This gave me the same capabilities as brand docking stations that cost 3x as much. Highly recommend.

Don't risk a purchase! The HDMI component didn't work and I immediately had to return it and opt for the more expensive Apple adapter instead. It's a waste of time with this product.

The only complaint I have is that if you bump it at all it notifies me on my computer that it was "disconnected” even though it wasn’t. The connection is obviously weird and doesn’t work that well.

This product boasts about being able to handle a lot, but it cannot consistently handle 1 usb connected speaker, 1 usb c charger, and 1 hdmi chord. it will constantly disconnect. I have tried getting a replacement but both cannot seem to do the bare minimum.

I bought a new Macbook Air, then realized I needed an adapter for USB and HDMI. I found this little adapter and it's perfect for my needs!

Bought the M2 MacBook Pro 2022 and needed to be able to connect 2 additional external displays. NONMIRRORING. Needed them to be 2 individual displays. This did not work. This only allows them to mirror eachother. Don’t buy if you need 2 extension displays.

Everything worked except for two things. A random screen flicker would occur about every hour or so. It failed to recognize the SSD PNY m.2 Solid State Drive.Returning.

I bought this for my MacBook Air so I don’t have to remove the case when I’m using an adapter. Works great! Very small and easy to use. No trouble hooking up a 2nd monitor with it. Definitely recommend this adapter!

It works, to the specifications in the fine print. Read carefully about all relevant specifications in the description before purchasing. The part I didn't read careful enough, is that when all 3 displays are connected, 2/3 will always be mirrored.So it works to the specifications as written in the description.if you read them all carefully, just not what most people would ASSUME when connecting all 3 HDMI monitors.

I’m working at home for the holidays , I wanted to connect two monitors to use with my laptop . This was just what I needed I connected my two monitors to my Dell laptop. Easy to set up and works great . So happy I took a chance .

This unit does not recongnize ssd with my computer. No solution on how to get it to work. Wasted my money on ssd purchase. That's my feedback.

My main purpose for buying this docking station was the ability to use with the M1 MacBook and connect more than one external monitor which doesn’t work. After more research I found that ONLY specific Plugable docking stations paired with downloaded drivers will workaround this Mac M1 limitation.

Seems solid and a good product that seems durable and works well. I’m using it as an adapter from my MacBook Air to HDMI and other devices.

I purchased this item to connect 2 monitors and wireless keyboard to my Surface. It has worked seamlessly and still allows me USB ports open and available if needed for use by other devices (such as a jump drive). Overall, im extremely satisfied with the unit and would recommend for use as a docking station. Price was excellent as well. Thanks!

I have an HP laptop, two LG monitors, a staples keyboard and mouse, and a logitech webcam. This dock connects all of them and allows for extended displays not just mirrored!

So far, I've used the the USB 3.0 ports and SD card to USB C on a MacBook Pro. Haven't done speed tests as yet. No compatibility issues experienced. Very pleased. Silver completely matches the silver mac. Imagine space gray has to be a good choice for the space gray macs.

Bought this so I can use dual monitors with my laptop. The thunderbolt connector makes it easy to set up. Having extra USB ports is also a plus. One issue, if you use a USB adapter to connect to an older laptop the HDMI ports are not functional. The thunderbolt port on the computer is needed to use the monitor connectors.
