Review on Headset Edifier WH500 black by Stanislaw Kisiel ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

There are very few reviews for this model, as well as for the brand as a whole, so I decided to write in more detail =) Before that, I used Koss Porta pro wireless, but because of the flimsy wiring, they fell into disrepair. Immediately the question arose of buying a new headset in modern realities. I wanted overheads, and from decent ones (according to reviews), they are mostly either full-sized or expensive. I stumbled upon this model, took a risk, and I think that I did not lose. Edifier WH500 is in no way inferior, and in a number of parameters, they are superior to Koss Porta pro. Charging was initially 85%, and during the first trial operation for 1 hour 20 minutes, it decreased . by 1%! Thus, the declared operating time can be twice as long. After more than an hour of wearing, the ears did not get tired at all. Periodically left the phone in another room - everything is clear. In general, while only positive emotions. And if you take into account the price of 3.5 thousand, then the Edifier WH500 is generally fire! Highly recommend to buy!

Pros
  • The plastic feels good. Lungs. The ear pads are soft with good insulation. They don't slip/fall off the head. Headband adjustable to any size. Powerful, highly detailed sound right out of the box. A fairly large margin of volume: I turned it on to the maximum and realized that it was too much for me. At maximum volume, nothing "wheezes" or "fails" anywhere. Connected to the phone without problems. I immediately installed a branded application (by the QR code on the box) to try to twist the equalizer, but most likely I will leave one of the standard presets. The application is in English, but it's easy to understand. Brief control of the application (hanging under the "top curtain" of the smartphone) allows you to quickly switch between modes and presets, see the percentage of charge and get into a more detailed mode.
Cons
  • Haven't found it yet, and hopefully won't in the future. If there are - I will add
