. I bought three of these backpacks for our trip to Ireland. I wanted something with enough room to be comfortable and versatile. The backpack works very well. I was happy with the fit. It takes a bit of fiddling with the chest strap and realizing that it can be moved up and down on the straps we randomly figured out. Plenty of space for your belongings on the plane. Very good zipper and straps. What I liked the most was the waterproof bag. Knowing we were going to Ireland and that it was most likely going to rain on us, this feature sold me, it saved our ass. We boarded a ferry that took us from Galway to Inisheer Island. Unfortunately an Atlantic storm was coming and I thought this entire tour would be canceled due to the weather. I've had the pleasure of being in the Marine Corps and on a ship so I knew it would be fun to see the 8-12 foot waves. It was raining heavily, with side winds and rough seas. I thought about how my ancestors had sailed across the Atlantic from Ireland and immediately supported them. We were out in the rain for 4 hours and the bags stayed dry. Our passports, money and cameras were completely dry. Great bag, great weight, very cheap.
