This product is basically good, but in my opinion there is a fatal flaw. It is made of high quality metal body which is durable but gets very hot in summer or in direct sunlight. The head of the charger goes through the magnets right into your phone. My phone overheats every time I plug it in right after I get in the car. I have to wait for the AC to cool off the charger before I can safely place my phone on the mount. The ventilation flap works relatively well. Not as good as other vent clips I've had, but does the job. I replaced USB-C with a USB-C to C charger and bought a 20W car charger to take advantage of the full 15W charging power. When using the included cable plugged into the car's USB port, my phone stutters when charging. It charges for a few seconds and stops charging for a few seconds. After replacing it with a more powerful charger, however, it worked perfectly. Also note that when using WIRED CarPlay, no data is transmitted through MagSafe. So you will need a WIRELESS CarPlay dongle for your vehicle make and model, which I purchased at the same time as ordering from Revain. After purchasing all the accessories to fully enjoy MagSafe with iPhone 12 Pro Max, I would say that this product comes along with the 20W car charger, the more reliable USB-C cable, and the wireless CarPlay adapter really completes the experience.
