It has latches on both sides to hold the table in place once opened (unlike some others) so you don't have to lift it when you have to lift it. You don't have to worry about holding it just right lest it collapse and fold with food/drink on it. Also latches for closing and a small carrying handle. Light in weight and was great to finally have 2 3 person picnics.
