After installation, the screen works fine. I have a T580 and there are some good videos on YouTube on how to remove the old screen and install the new one. However, what I didn't expect was that the home button cutout on the new screen would be a nanometer too small for the button to work without snagging in the new glass. I tried to free it and the new glass cracked. :-( So I had to order another screen, when I got the second screen I removed the button and checked that it fit first and found the same problem. I had to file the edges of the button with a small measuring file to make it fit fits in After making sure it fit it went together easily and works well now, but be careful if you decide to go down this route to swap out the screen.
