This jig is perfect for your sealant tube after you cut off the clogged end. It sits there snugly and snugly, so it shouldn't leak. However, I found that several tubes of old caulk that I was trying to salvage were overflowing as the caulk had become too thick on the entire tube to squeeze out. So don't expect miracles, but if you have a seal tube that is only clogged at or near the tip, this will work. It is possible to remove TubeANew after use and store it for another use, but it is a little tricky to detach the sealant tube.
