Review on 🚗 Subaru Forester OEM Wiper Blade Set 2014-2018 – Front & Rear Windshield – Genuine Quality by Doug Layman

There is no quality at the price of the Subaru part. The entire blade assembly is plastic and one of the tabs holding the squeegee is broken. (The seller was very good at accepting returns.) The original blade for the 2014 Forester has metal hardware and more grommets that hold the rubber in place; it can accept refills. Subaru no longer sells wiper blade refills and is now a reduced quality, fully disposable part. I bought a wiper filler for $10 and it works great. The front wiper blades fit 8mm wide x 26" long replacement cartridges. The rubber can be easily trimmed for the passenger side, which has a shorter length. If you still have the original blade, look for an 8mm wide replacement blade instead of the replace entire blade.I was unable to use the refill on the rear window as I no longer have the original wiper blade assembly.The trend to replacing the entire brush assembly rather than just replacing worn rubber is frustrating.It's more expensive and wasteful.
