Despite their size, they last a long time! I have two smelly dogs, cats, children, husband = lots of dirt. And I don't have to change them often. I usually change them before they are full because they smell. I've even tried the pet version but they don't seem to work much better. So when I vacuum, my house smells like dog. I sprinkle some carpet powder and vacuum it up when I first start cleaning and it helps. Aside from the smell, I think the bags are great. And the smell is a problem since we have a dog, no vacuum cleaner has yet sealed the stench :-). It's probably a basset hound.
