I have never had dry, itchy skin, but it has become so in the last few months, maybe due to vitamin deficiencies or simply because of age (65 years - in one fell swoop). So I started researching and came across Curel. I noticed that it was adopted by the National Eczema Association (the actual organization - I googled it). It contains a ceramide complex that improves skin hydration and protection. I chose the Curel shower gel, body lotion and moisturizer for wet skin (although I haven't used the latter product yet). In the shower, I exfoliate with a washcloth and body wash, then apply body lotion until skin is completely dry. It moves in quickly, even though I apply it in layers. Well after a few uses I am very impressed! The itching subsided. My skin is soft again. I can actually rub some of the dry skin off. I'm so happy I was able to find a soothing over the counter product at a very reasonable price that works!
