I've used it before and dripping solder doesn't stick to it or even stain it, I looked very closely, it falls right away eye, and speaking of close inspection, I have to chuckle at the tiny containers of screws, all numbered upside down.

As I do more and more electronic repairs and modifications, this Royace repair mat is a must for me. This saves me from losing tiny details and ruining my very expensive tablecloth.

I don't know what "screw positioning grids" are, but I think it's a good place to dump frayed insulation and other debris that's always trying to roll on it. floor before I get to the trash can. Although I already had a fashionable anti-static mat, I was very interested when I saw the Royace repair mat (13.8" x 9.8"). Although primarily intended for desoldering/resoldering or reflow, it also works well as a tear-off mat. Molded parts are great for screws, terminals, and even small integrated circuits. I used a mat with my soldering iron. While still using my regular stand, I wasn't bothered by accidental contact with the tabletop. recommended

I don't know how long I spent searching the floor next to my workbench for small screws. This mat reduces the time I spend looking for small pieces of things I disassemble for repairs or modifications.

This is a well-made silicone soldering mat with 3 magnet points on the top, an engraved ruler on the bottom, about 20 divisions for small parts and tools, and 116 terminations. I bought this primarily for disassembly and reassembly. The rug measures 350mm x 250mm (13.8 x 9.8) which is a good size for smaller projects and storing parts for larger items. The silicone material stays on the table or desk and all the little pockets are great for storing screws and parts. There are three screw magnets which are relatively weak but still good at keeping small screws from slipping off. This pad is supposed to be good for soldering, but I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

The rubber surface is easy to grip and won't scratch objects and is heat resistant - ideal for soldering.
