Works with Dell Desktop 3470/3471 Small Form Factor

Works with Dell Desktop 3470/3471 Small Form Factor. I only have 24GB of RAM, but on this system I was only able to use about 49% of the total installed RAM. So 24GB of installed RAM is probably a bit too much for general entertainment applications and light gaming. This system is certainly designed for the future. Since RAM was around $30 for an 8GB drive and 2R for a 16GB drive was $53, my thinking was why not just use a 16GB (2400MHz) drive? Because the machine only has 2 RAM slots anyway and the previous price was over $100 for a 16GB RAM stick. The RAM size should now be future proof, at least 10-20 years, as my 8 year old Dell laptop had 8GB RAM at the time and this new machine came 8 years later. I'm sure that in 10 years machines won't need 24GB of RAM and a quad core processor will be as modern as the quad core processor on my eight year old laptop. Even a 15-year-old W. Vista 1.8 GHz Core 2 Duo processor from Sony will run Windows 10 with just 2 GB of RAM and a new SSD just as fast as any new PC today - no measurable difference. As far as I know, this memory is made by SK Hynix in Taiwan. It is best to use a memory card without a heatsink for this Dell model as it is a small form factor desktop. I recommend this brand and specific memory card for this particular Dell model.
