Review on Scosche KA2092B: Black Double DIN Dash Kit for 🔧 2006-11 Kia Rio / 2007-09 Sorento - Compatible & Effective by Richard Rob

I bought this kit to fit a new radio on my 2007 Kia Rio. The kit served its purpose, but the flimsy plastic is clearly inferior to the flimsy metal bracket that held the factory radio. I tried using the original factory radio housing on the new radio but the screw holes did not match the new radio. Once installed I'm a little skeptical about how long it will keep my radio running. Plastic is cheap and doesn't support the weight of a two din radio. I opened the dashboard to look at it after only 5 days and it had already started to warp. Will she survive? The time will show. Will it work better in your car? Maybe like this. Will I pay a little more for a metal kit next time? Absolutely!
