Bought this dog bed at camping. We have an XL for an 80 lb bloodhound puppy. It fits perfectly, it's washable and I think the fabric will at least be water repellent. We turned it upside down indoors so lightning wouldn't scratch the tree. It's not really fluffy but you can put a bag in and put some fluff or memory foam in, especially for large dogs whose joints are throbbing so I feel like extra padding is needed when sleeping. (We will.) For the price we know we'll probably need to modify with better down, so can't complain. Nothing bad.
