Review on ๐Ÿƒ Rockay Blaze Calf & Shin Compression Leg Sleeves 16-23 mmHg - Graduated Support for Men and Women (1 Pair) by Kevin Lawson

Comfortable with support

These Rockay compression stockings are the first compression stockings I use exclusively for my calves and I have found them comfortable and excellent quality. Support for running and hiking. The sleeves are made from multifilament polyamide, polyamide and elastane, there are virtually no seams which helps with comfort and while they fit as snugly as they should, they never chafe and are breathable. Usage: I used them right out of the box for a 5 mile run on tarmac. I hate walking in tights/pants and usually wear shorts no matter the weather. It was wet, rainy and cold and the compression sleeves complemented my shorts perfectly. They got wet but never uncomfortable and when I got home they were dry in less than an hour. They controlled tremors during the run, which should have helped with the pain, but as it was a fairly easy run I only noticed that they helped keep my feet warm and comfortable. The real test came the next day when I decided to do an eight-mile trail run. It started raining again and the road was wet and muddy. Due to the landscape of the Pacific Northwest, there was a lot of shaking, ups and downs. Usually, a good incline run causes pain in the calves and thighs the next day, and although there was pain, the next day the calves were in much better shape than the thighs. Again, despite the longer run and varied conditions, I found them comfortable and they continued to not chafe. Care: They were a little dirty when I got home from the track and although the packaging says to only wash them when necessary (they come with Stay Fresh technology) I decided to take them with me throwing my other running gear in the wash: cold and no air conditioners for laundry. I let them air dry and when I tried them on again for another five mile run I found that they didn't change in size and were still comfortable and breathable. All in all this is a good product. I know some runners are unsure if compression sleeves will work, but I found that there was a noticeable difference in how sore I felt the next day, especially on my long runs. Also, I liked wearing them with shorts on cold days and when running, they also protected my legs from scratches. They were easy to care for, and while I didn't check the stink factor, they had absolutely no odor after all three runs and additional hikes.
