Review on ๐Ÿ”‹ POWEROWL 8 Bay AA AAA Battery Charger with LCD Display (USB Quick Charge, Independent Slot) for Rechargeable Ni-MH Ni-CD Batteries by Anthony Juat

Where is the documentation?

I've always loved Powerowl battery chargers. In fact, the one I've been using for the last 4 or 5 years just expired; So of course I went back to Powerowl. And here is my criticism. I was expecting the charger to come with a power cord, but this device uses a USB micro input to power the charger. In the absence of a power cord, I would have preferred a USB-C connection to a USB mic. My second problem was the lack of proper documentation. In fact, there was more documentation on the Revain website than what came with the charger. However, operating the charger does not require an advanced degree. It's pretty basic, but the existing documentation doesn't even cover turning on the charger with the included USB cable. More importantly, the charging status hasn't been fully explained. For example, as you can see in the attached photos, one of my batteries (#3) is not charging at all. I can only assume that the battery has reached its EOL, but this is not reflected at all in the accompanying documentation. I have also noticed that the two battery packs charge in my charger but are still not fully charged after almost 8 hours of mains use. last observation. Since the charger actually uses an available USB cable, how difficult would it be to add a USB output as part of the charger?

Pros
  • With USB input interface, you can use laptop, car charger, mobile phone charger, etc. to charge the battery.
Cons
  • I don't remember.
