On long trips (1-2 weeks) I tend to pack heavy stuff as I usually drive in all weathers so I needed something to attach a large bag to the passenger seat. After a long search I bought this back. It arrived quickly and was very durable. I noticed the locking hardware was loose, so I put threadlock on the hardware and adjusted as needed. The side plates required some adjustments to easily fit the docking gear. The first ride with him consisted of a fully loaded bag with a week's worth of clothing plus some necessary extras, probably around 30 pounds plus another lighter bag strapped to the back of his back. In one week he drove 2,300 miles, partly in less than ideal road conditions, without any problems. I highly recommend it.
