I'm amazed that Aiwa was able to put this much sound into a set of earbuds. Total separation of the highs, mids, and lows with zero distortion. Very easy to get to an 'above average' volume, and there are still a few clicks of more volume that are available in case you need it. The tangle-free cord is convenient and it has a nice hidden collar you slide up from the button that allows you to tighten the cord "V" under your chin. I had the best fit and performance with the smallest silicone ear bud tip. These sound like over-ear headphones and it is hard to explain what the Aiwa Prodigy-1s sound like, it is a brand new experience for anyone that has tried other ear bud style headphones. I also used them for my hands free headset for my cell phone and they are by far the clearest for listening to other people talk and much more loud and clear to the person that has to listen to my voice on the other end.
