For my 1999 Honda CRV front sensor. It was the right part and it fit BUT that can be a bearish job! The fork is located behind the engine where only one lever fits. I couldn't unplug the connector for no reason as one side had to be squeezed and pulled apart. Almost impossible with one hand - on your back on the garage floor. I tried cutting the old sensor cap into pieces to get it loose, but it wouldn't come loose. After 2 hours of struggle I ripped it from the tongue attached to the body and squeezed it with both hands - Finally I got it loose; (Why didn't I just cut the wires you are talking about - well, if I did that there is NO WAY I could put crimping pliers into space to place a new sensor.
