Thought I'd have to invest a lot of money for quality and functionality.not so! Decided to take a chance and purchase this least expensive deck box and see what happens. Wow.truly happy that I chose this one. Arrived on time, had it together in less then 20 minutes, perfectly holds all four of my rather large patio chair cushions with a little room to spare. Assembly was super easy, everything just snaps into place. No damaged or missing pieces, so easy I didn't really need to use the directions.only 6 pieces to assemble plus three hinges that also just snap into place. Surprisingly light weight for the size, this 60 yr old woman was able to move it around pretty easily. Not at all flimsy and cheaply made. Definitely will hold up two grown adults sitting, as advertised. You absolutely can leave this out in the rain, no chance of contents getting wet but there are some very small holes in the bottom recess for ventilation purposes. If it's sitting in water 3 or 4 inches deep, water WILL get in. Very pleased with this purchase. Will be purchasing a few more thru out the summer just to use for extra storage space and it's great that it also doubles as seating space. Highly recommend!
