Review on ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ ATX Motherboard Test Bench Open Air Frame Computer Case: Durable Aluminum Bracket, DIY Bare Frame, Supports Graphics Card, Gray & Black by Gary Duncan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Complex installation, but doable.

This is my first dyno, maybe I don't know but everyone else is like that? The first thing that struck me when I opened the box was that this thing is heavy, it's made out of really strong rectangular steel tubing. The next thing I noticed was that there were many packages with different types of screws, washers, and all sorts of stuff you'd need to assemble this thing. If you like challenging puzzles you might have fun putting this together, otherwise I suggest getting another pair of hands to help. Usually you had to hold 3 or more parts while trying to tighten 4 or 5 different screws with your other hand. Maybe it's just me, but I don't understand why it has to be so hard to put together. One odd thing, considering how strong the steel frame is, is the acrylic PSU mount. Before trying to use it, I accidentally hit it with my hand and it broke. It's not needed if you don't mind just having your power supply on the table by the dyno, but why this part was so flimsy when everything else is built like a tank is very odd.
