DO NOT listen to harsh comments about the removal process. These people either didn't follow the instructions or didn't have the necessary items. For a smooth removal you will need 3 common household items: 1) hair dryer, 2) rubbing alcohol (rubbing alcohol, DO NOT use alcohol) and 3) rag (bath towel/towel, washcloth). DON'T START, I repeat, DON'T START by trying to detach the hook strip from the mirror. STEP 1: Dry a small piece of strip for about 30 seconds and remove this warm part from the mirror, dry another small piece of strip with a hair dryer for 30 seconds and then remove this warm piece (repeat this process until the entire strip peels off mirror) DO NOT worry about leaving glue on the mirror during this step. Just worry about removing the strip. Currently. for STEP TWO. Pour alcohol around the edges of the large globs of glue sticking to the mirror. After filling the globs of glue with alcohol, they should EASILY separate from the mirror. (I used the palm rolling technique and wiped the glue off with my palm, but peeling works too) However, there will still be SMALL spots of glue on the mirror. Step THREE: Pour alcohol onto a rag and use the rag to wipe away the glue stains. The alcohol on the rag will instantly wipe away any adhesive residue. Now that the biggest problem is fixed I LOVE the rack. It's holding up well, I've had it for a few months and it has never fallen off even though I had a lot of weight. The only reason I took it off is because I'm moving. Adhesive strips cannot be reused, but metal trays can be used. If you move you can order additional adhesive strips using the link provided and just keep the same metal shells if you'd like. It costs money and effort to remove (if you ever need to remove it).
