I have Lume Cube 2.0 and 1.0. Pros and cons of each. I wish I could take both and make 1 amazing light. Light quality is better on Lume 2. It's slightly warmer than 1.0, but it's not enough. It should still feel warmer. The light is more even and better quality than 1.0. It lasts much longer (almost twice) than 1.0 without reloading. It's still going to be super hot. I like it when the + buttons get lighter or darker without scrolling through all 10 levels. Something I don't like, I think the Lume Cube screwed it up. The 2.0 model is rated for 30 feet water resistance. The charging connector has a rubber plug that simply snaps on. At a depth of 2 feet I saw it come out halfway and an air bubble came out. It should have a screw cap like the 1.0. 1.0 is rated for 100 feet. I asked Lume and they said they changed it because people lost their cap. They changed the charging port to USB-C, which is better. I noticed a full charge and after a week the 2.0 was dead while the 1.0 is still fully charged. I wonder if I just have a bad battery? The 2.0 would be the perfect light if they kept the screw top and charged the battery for over a week. For this reason I gave the battery 3 stars. It keeps 3 stars because it lasts longer on a charge.
