Buyers beware Poor support

So I bought a Lume Cube but it wouldn't turn on. I've been trying to contact Lume Cube for over a month but got the reply that they are at concerts and can't reach me. Bottom line, I bought a Lume Cube, it didn't work and I wanted to trade it in. Never returned to me so just sent it back to Revain to never get a refund again.

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • Useless features

Light and powerful light

These are great twin lights. It's so small and you won't sweat to make them walk. Just throw them in your bag and they'll come in handy whenever you need them. I just received them and I'm really surprised at how great they are. Light quality, structure and application. Lume Cube did a great job. I'm thinking about getting more and just getting creative with it.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Anything I can add

Far overrated and overpriced! The conversion frame is unusual.

. Since it only attaches to the cube, we'll see how long it lasts. I will test the light in a few days. Don't expect too much light. The cube is clearly inferior to cheaper goods, especially in terms of value for money: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RDF99SN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1I bought this item and it is fair as it is good, like Lume Cube!

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons
  • Requires Socket

Immediately filled with water

I bought a light cube to shoot for salmon in the nearest stream. I checked the seal (just the rubber valve), hooked it up to my gopro and put it in the water. Films for about 2 minutes then picked up and it was half full of water. The light was still on, but I turned it off and put it in a bag of rice. I can still get the light to work, but only when connected to a power source. I hesitate because there are still traces of water inside the cube. There is no way it can walk in 30 feet of water.

Pros
  • Don't waste time
Cons
  • Something's wrong

DO NOT USE UNDER WATER

The product description says they are waterproof to a depth of 10 meters (33 feet). DON'T BELIEVE. I liked using them as a cheaper alternative to my expensive video dive lights and took them snorkeling today. the deepest I went to was 22 feet. My two Lum Cubes are flooded and failed. I was so disappointed in that. Maybe if the Lume Cube had some sort of Go Pro dive box, they'd work better. But don't take them into the water, even if they look sealed.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • A few small things

Pretty good light but surprisingly bad QC

This is a nice little light source for a hot shoe or lamp stand. I use it as the main light source for my online classes. For $90 and all the fanfare I was expecting much better quality control. My diffuser plate had a dark spot on the front and there is a flaw in the finish of the Lumicube or hot shoe mount (I don't know which) which means the Lumecube sits crookedly (and a little loosely) on my camera. Considering my usage - stabilized on a tripod and not moving - it doesn't matter. However…

Great product for lighting and studio

I bought one of these to try, then bought another one even though there was a difficulty in using it. This difficulty is related to the installation of the mod frame (which is used for the diffuser, color gels, spout, etc.). The frame is not snapped or removed. The first time I put the frame on, I had to use a lot of force and tilt it back and forth. I then despaired of removing the bezel without using tools that could damage the product. However, I found that the frame was easier to remove and

Lume 1.0 v/s 2.0: Built-in video light

I have Lume Cube 2.0 and 1.0. Pros and cons of each. I wish I could take both and make 1 amazing light. Light quality is better on Lume 2. It's slightly warmer than 1.0, but it's not enough. It should still feel warmer. The light is more even and better quality than 1.0. It lasts much longer (almost twice) than 1.0 without reloading. It's still going to be super hot. I like it when the + buttons get lighter or darker without scrolling through all 10 levels. Something I don't like, I think the…
