A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

Tip for those who have problems with AF; The subject should be lighter than the background. When shooting at 1.4, set the shutter speed to 1/320 or faster. On all models, Nikon is younger than the D750 AF so-so. And don't zoom everything at 1.4 very often the depth of field should be more. It so happened that I already have this 3rd fifty dollars 1.4G and there were no problems with any of them.

Pros
  • Aperture! The size! The weight! Price! Softness around the edges of the frame! Yes, yes guys, this is the advantage of this lens, and not its disadvantage. Cheap glass with a really top-notch pattern. (but with the closing of the aperture, like all cheap Nikons, it becomes not as top-end as we would like).
Cons
  • Slow AF.

The quality is ok on the whole, it has some small flaws.

After 200 shots, some kind of sensor broke, after which the lens stopped focusing. Of course, this happened in the midst of a commercial shoot! Luckily, I had a replacement with me. Repaired in the service 1 month. At 1.4-1.6, the depth of field is so small that you can only shoot an object - small objects. In the portrait, it turns out like this: the model slightly turns her face, focus on the eye, and the second blurs into minced meat - yes, right into minced meat! If you move away to…

Pros
  • Aperture, light weight and size
Cons
  • Quality, 1.4-1.8 almost non-working apertures.

Great product, a pleasure to use.

I use on D800 The feeling is that in the hands of the good old "Zenith" with "Helios-44", which has been used for more than 20 it turns out to shoot everything (of course, except for where more than 100 mm is required)

Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

The picture quality is excellent, at 1.4 it smears a little, but at 1.8 let me quibble a little, I would like not to fix with the same aperture. Pros: LIGHT! At a fairly low ISO D3000, it becomes possible to shoot without a flash almost constantly. Its cons: let me quibble a little, I would like not to fix with the same aperture.

Excellent product, the best quality.

Has some pros: LIGHT! I personally like bokeh :) Good assembly despite China and equipment. Got cons: if only it often smears at 1,4, which is quite natural with such a small depth of field

An ideal product for any type of consumer.

With its pros: 1 Before that, I didn’t even think that this was possible on my device (D300S). 2 3 beauty of colors in bokeh Got cons: At 1.4-1.8, it noticeably chromates purple, but not always - it depends on the lighting. 2nd is perfect.

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

In general, apart from the fact that I had to tinker with adjusting the focus, Has some pros: 1 2 MF mode, without fear that you will twist the focus motor to it (I turned the 50mm 1.8 II Canon head like this)) 3 although 50 1.8 - the maximum resolution of glass is achieved, and at 50mm 1.8G at f5.6 4 the aperture itself and bokeh) Has cons: The disadvantage is that almost all specimens have back focus, gradually picking up (adjustable in the camera from -20 to +20 steps), because in our…

Gorgeous glass! I would advise you to take 1.4D, since it will not be inferior in quality, but even surpass 1.4 1.4D autofocus is noticeably faster, one might even say lightning fast, which cannot be said about 1.4G, whose autofocus is basically accurate, the picture changes - 1.4D is not suitable for full frame, the loss of sharpness in the corners cannot be compared with what we get at 1.4G, this is a huge pleasure, all the frames are like from the cover, juicy, contrasting, the glass is…

Pros
  • 1) Superb sharpness at f/1.4 2) Excellent edge sharpness even at full frame (Nikon D600) 3) Great colors! 4) There are no complaints about the accuracy of autofocus 5) there is a profile for the lens - it straightens perfectly even pictures taken at f / 1.4! 6) Lightweight, compact, strong 7) Produces excellent micro-contrast in photos 8) Divinely soft bokeh at open apertures 9) Video shooting on this glass is one big advantage (especially on a full frame, where it gives out honest 50mm).
Cons
  • 1) Autofocus speed (slow, not in a hurry, double checks for accuracy)

I bought it to help the whale 18-105 for the Nikon D5100, it suits everyone, the back and front focus are normal, unlike the whale, you can shoot in low light, take a photo for yourself, now the season is starting, so I bought it, chose different 50mm options, considered the Soviet helios 81H, 1.8 nikor with and without AF-S, decided not to save money and took 1.4G, a photograph of my cat, lighting two energy-saving lamps of 25W each

Pros
  • Light, clear, good blur
Cons
  • Price

Excellent product, the best quality.

The lens is gorgeous, at night on a lit street it easily shoots without a flash (or with the flash turned down as much as possible to highlight the foreground) sharp, About sharpness from 2 - you can’t talk about the sharpness of the lens separately from the camera, since the sharpness of the photo still strongly depends on the matrix and grain size in particular, I shoot on Nikon D90 (12M), it can be different on other cameras, but the general law is as follows : The smaller the physical…

Pros
  • - Comfortable autofocus mode (A / M), after focusing, you can tighten the ring if necessary.
Cons
  • Objectively, yes, not very sharp on an open hole, real sharpness (with edge sharpness of one pixel when viewed at 400% zoom in WB) starts at about 2

Revainrating 4 out of 5

No minuses as such, comfortable to use.

It takes a long time to choose a suitable specimen, a friend brought the same glass from Japan and is just perfect, sharp and accurate already from 1.4! Therefore, there is only one advice, very meticulously choose, come to the store with a tripod, a laptop (for viewing at 100% magnification), a friend (or girlfriend), seat a person and focus on the pupil (I think the test charts are not a very good solution, a little out of touch with reality, but useful for evaluating chrome and geometry) you

Pros
  • aperture, drawing, sharpness (if you're lucky).
Cons
  • A lot of copies with inaccurate focus.

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I didn't see good quality, solid disadvantages.

I took it for portraits, it will be hardly noticeable there, Ru/users/aleksandry2022/album/384541/ I had to set the focus adjustment to -20 and, judging by the tests, the optimum will be at -21.22 even after the “computer tuning” on the D7000 - 20 you can achieve normal operation, but at what cost! As it turned out, with different apertures, it costs +10-+12 it is 0, at 4 it is already about -11 If you move further (or come closer), then the values \u200b\u200 expect that.

Pros
  • luminosity
Cons
  • chromatic aberration, focus adjustment required

I did not regret the purchase, everything is fine.

The lens that I use with the D800 is decent, especially taking into account the fact that it is reasonably priced. It performs admirably with an aperture of 5.6, its sharpness will be superior to that of an 85 with a 1.4 aperture (even many online resources talk about this; otherwise, of course, it will be less capable than 85), and with such an aperture, focus is carried out admirably. The lens is significantly superior to Canon's 50mm f/1.4, but Canon's 50mm f/1.2 gives it a significant…

Pros
  • 1) Superb Sharpness. I would even go so far as to state that the sharpness surpasses that of more expensive lenses. 2) The lighting is extremely uniform under the same conditions in comparison to the same setting 24-70 2.8 and 50 1.4, The middle portion of the photo is lighter in tone 3) Draws the volume, as well as the light and shadow pattern, perfectly. 4) Excellent paints 5) Cost, in this price range, Nikon offers the best repair. 6) Bokeh that is pleasing, in contrast to the version D
Cons
  • 1) It churns fairly forcefully (principally 135, which is several times more expensive, churns in the same way) 2) Exhibits evidence of barrel distortion (But a light room or photoshop does a good job with this problem) 3) Horrible autofocus on open holes, particularly in dimly lit spaces (there's nothing that can be done about this ((( ( )
