A wonderful product, it's nice to use.

A fix is a fix. Highly recommend. Pros below: Aperture! Excellent picture sharpness and excellent color reproduction. Compared to my 18-55mm kit lens, the picture is sharper and the color reproduction is more accurate. At 1.4, it makes sense to shoot only in complete darkness, for example, candles, bonfires, fireworks, and so on. In modes 2.0-8.0 out of competition. Especially at aperture 2.0, amazing bokeh. With its cons. On crop 1.5 (I have a Nikon D5000) it is difficult to take…

Mediocre goods, most likely I will not use.

I took it to replace a similar sigma (see my review about it) - I decided that I needed a lighter and more compact fifty dollars with a more uniform resolution across the field. I took some pictures, here are my impressions (Nikon compared to Sigma, on the D800): the contrast on an open hole is worse; edge resolution is better; XA is noticeably worse - there are more of them, and they are more problematic in post-processing; the background blur pattern is different, more "dense", the sigma…

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

I bought it probably in 2022 - I'm still happy. Of course, at a fully open aperture, the focus point is a few millimeters and it’s good to limp sometimes, but these are nitpicking. Fix - he is a fix - you have to work with your feet. Primary working lens. On crop, the focal length is good. In my opinion, the only drawback of this lens is the long focusing distance, but this is not a macro lens either. Now I'm licking my lips what year on Makrik Fix 105.

Pros
  • bokeh, aperture
Cons
  • Everything suits me. But when buying, check - out of two lenses in the store, one was lame. Sometimes the motor crawls, but never focuses.

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The product is the most common, it could be worse.

The lens is neither fish nor meat. With a completely ordinary picture for fixation. Not genre like 35 and still not portrait like 85. I love this focal length as a convenient alternative to 85. Good for outdoor or indoor portraits. Often smears AF. It does not work on an open hole, image degradation and vignetting appear. I use with D700 12 mp. It happens that you have to stretch the frame in post-processing. In general, I'm satisfied with half a dozen. Budget and allows you to make good…

Pros
  • price, weight, structural reliability. opportunity to take quality pictures
Cons
  • Slow AF. Often rubs. On an open hole 1.8, 1.4. Washes the cut, vignetting appears. For me personally, this is not a disadvantage.

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

In the fall, I bought a D7000 with an 18-55 mm whale lens. After a couple of months of shooting, I realized that I needed a fix and a zoom, I surfed the Internet, decided on 50mm f / 1.8 and 18-200mm f / 3.5-5.6G. In December, my wife gave 50mm f / 1.4G AF-S. After the first shots, I was shocked by the aperture . sharpness . bokeh . color reproduction . at altitude. Whale 18-55 needs to be put somewhere. I recommend this 50mm f/1.4G AF-S to everyone.

Pros
  • 1. f/1.4, there is f/1.4 2. color rendition - download 3. you can forget about the flash 4. very sharp 5. perfectly washes the background 6. light
Cons
  • price

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is of good quality, there is only one minor defect.

An excellent lens, I took it to replace the whale one and now the whale is in the box. The lens is excellent. While trying the subject and street photos. I advise everyone who wants to get chic bokeh to buy, and feel that the money was not spent in vain. The only thing I would like is metal instead of plastic in manufacturing and a metal hood. I really liked the hybrid autofocus system, when after the autofocus has worked, you can manually change the focus without switching anything. I…

Pros
  • Bokeh, aperture, soft light on an open hole, bokeh, the hood does not rotate when focusing, bokeh, yes, it's worth mentioning it three times.
Cons
  • the price, especially considering that the difference between the same lens with aperture ratio of 1.8 is almost twice (!) but I still took this one.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

My impression of the purchase is good, buy it.

I took for shooting portraits on Nikon D7100. I searched for a very long time and made a lot of trips, took it with minimal flaws :(, the focus hits 1 cm behind the focus point, it was removed with a correction of -20, but I’m not completely satisfied with the adjustment, I need adjustment (maybe someone will tell you where they do it in Hong Kong). The pictures are very are good, as I wrote earlier after 2.2 everything is very sharp.

Pros
  • good bokeh, very little depth of field on the hole, very sharp from f2.2 to f14. Autofocus is quite efficient, rarely misses (I think these are my misses)
Cons
  • I didn’t find a decent option in stores, basically everything with back focus, there are a lot of chromatic aberrations, a lot of them, whale ones don’t make as much noise as this one, there are unrealistically many of them in the open, they are removed programmatically, but still.

The perfect product for any user!

It is used mainly for portraits, sometimes as the main one for everything, universally. To camouflage you need to "run"))) you don't mess around with ZUUM))). Great lens! About some shortcomings, the assembly of a budget lens, hence some design features. For example, the external nameplate is installed as a "gasket", that is, it can be easily removed. The second is plastic and everything that is hidden. Review SUBJECTIVE! In general: the image quality is on top.

Pros
  • Sharpness and QUALITY! suitable for a huge number of photographic tasks, in particular, with such a lens you can shoot in low light, use it as a regular fixed lens on Nikon FX cameras
Cons
  • for slow photography

A great option for this money, one of the best offers.

A great lens that gives you huge possibilities for realizing your fantasies. Good bokeh, but better at 85mm. Very fast, very fast, convenient portrait focal length for DX, and little interesting focal length for FX. I don’t even know where to apply 1.4, below 2.0 you can’t make full-face portraits, the nose goes out of sharpness, you can’t shoot below 2.4 full-face. IMHO 1.8 for the eyes for most scenes.

Pros
  • - Aperture - Good bokeh - Fast motor - Light - sharp
Cons
  • - Fixed focal length :) - price relative to 1.8

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

Excellent glass for your money, excellent "portrait" on the crop. As bought, since then the whale has not been dressed. I understood why I needed a czk =), only when I saw a photo taken with this lens (18-55 clicks like a good soap dish, but no more). Happy as an elephant. Testing 50mm 1.8 AF - it’s quite difficult to catch focus on an open hole, so if someone chooses a fifty dollars between AF-S and AF, then take AF-S, you won’t lose.

Pros
  • - Relatively small (but heavier than kit 18-55) -Very nice photos with light software at 1.4-2.0 -Quality assembled, everything is tightly fitted -Adequate price
Cons
  • did not find

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied with everything, both price and quality, I advise you to buy.

The lens I use with the D800 is good, especially considering that it is not expensive. It shows itself well with aperture 5.6, sharpness will be better than that of 85 1.4 (Even many Internet resources write about this, otherwise, of course, it will be inferior to 85)), and with such aperture 5.6 focus works well. The lens is much better than Canon's 50 1.4, but Canon has 1.2 which gives it a big + I would like Nikon to make 50 with a gold ring and fix all the problems, let it be more…

Pros
  • 1) Excellent Sharpness. I would say that sharpness is better even than on expensive lenses 2) Light very even under the same conditions compared with the same setting 24-70 2.8 and 50 1.4, The picture is lighter in half 3) Perfectly draws volume and light and shadow pattern 4) Excellent paints 5) Price, for this price Nikon has the best fix 6) Pleasant bokeh, unlike the D version
Cons
  • 1) It churns quite strongly (principally 135, which is several times more expensive, churns in the same way) 2) Has Barrel Distortion (But a light room or photoshop does a good job with this problem) 3) Terrible Autofocus on open holes, especially in dark rooms (there's nothing to be done (((( )

The right product for me, there were no problems.

Lens from the must-have series) Mine was acquired with little or no verification - that's how the circumstances developed. Probably lucky, but I did not encounter any soap or AF inaccuracy. As I wrote above, its main purpose is to shoot in places unsuitable for shooting, where it shows all its advantages. Despite the Chinese assembly, it is structurally very good: no backlash, sounds, squeaks. Dust does not swallow. Definitely recommend as a base lens for any FF camera.

Pros
  • A reliable fix for a wide variety of tasks - from a portrait in cramped and dark rooms such as bars, restaurants and clubs, to a calm walk through the fields and forests. Very light. Quiet motor. Lack of HA.
Cons
  • It has an "interesting" color rendition - such a fair, for my taste) This is a nitpick, because. from RAW, everyone constructs what he needs . There is an opinion that you need to carefully choose for the accuracy of AF, etc. - I do not know, I did not encounter.

I recommend to buy, the product is of high quality.

The lens is good, solidly made, good lens hood, small, light. A little annoying is the low speed of autofocus, sometimes there really is not enough speed. The bokeh is modest, blurring the background into porridge by 1.4 is easy, but there is no airiness, no zest. I use it on the D700 as the main one, I'm satisfied, it solves many problems. At one time thought to sell, but did not dare. Get used to it and that's it. I am looking at 58mm 1,4, but there is a space price tag. I recommend to buy.

Pros
  • Compact, lightweight, bright. Sharp from aperture 2.8, 5.6 sharp throughout the frame. Holds backlight well.
Cons
  • The autofocus speed is average, it may not have time to focus if you shoot children or some kind of fast-moving object. Modest bokeh.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for the price.

The lens block moves when focusing - I'm afraid it won't suck dust. The lens hood is needed only when the filter is screwed on - the front lens is recessed into the body in order. If your carcass does not have AF adjustment, check for back and front focus when buying. Larger than 50 / 1.4D and filters for 52 will not work. After / 1.4D, there are many times fewer autofocus misses, there are almost no marriages from the session rushing around like mad children.

Pros
  • Pleasant three-dimensional picture, soft bokeh, very tenacious AF, good color reproduction, sharp over the entire field with /2.8, ringing with /4, almost no XA, lens hood included.
Cons
  • Soft effect (not soap!) from /1.4 to /2.2, back focus.

Perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

I took it for a test at the box office - I liked the result, I had to go to the store for a new one. I chose one of the three requested copies, although I was pleased that all three were of decent quality (the difference is minimal). I tested it in the salon for a long time and meticulously according to the templates I took with me (all three had a small BF - in real conditions everything is ok). The copy got sharp with f1.4 (for the rental it started with f2.2 and more soap). Lenses made in…

Pros
  • Aperture, excellent color reproduction, artistic drawing, sharpness, very small XA, good design, iron mount, no vignetting (all this on Nikon D5000)
Cons
  • Slow autofocus, price 15t. R.

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

I bought it yesterday, all the tests are still at home, with medium lighting. Well, with a flash, it's just a SONG ! It aims very quickly and silently, which is very important when shooting my animals! Two days before he took Sigma, good professional glass but loud (maybe he got caught) and twice as heavy. I exchanged it for my native Nikkor, I want to live ! In the twilight, it is induced without a brake! I will not advise anything, everyone has different tastes and technique too! I have a…

Pros
  • Light, fast, sharp, accurate, beautiful bokeh, silent focusing!
Cons
  • Didn't understand, haven't noticed yet.

I really liked the lens. He draws wonderfully, an excellent portrait painter, there is no vignetting at all, almost no chromate. AF, although slow, but I have not yet had such that he smeared. I perceive the absence of a stub as an integral characteristic of Nikorov's standard high-aperture fixes. In my opinion, it is not even needed. PS I sold it due to the lack of interest in the EGF on the crop.

Pros
  • Aperture Excellent color reproduction amazing bokeh Cutting Low price Workmanship
Cons
  • Very slow AF

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I am dissatisfied with the product, there are no positive qualities.

They gave him a ride on the Nikon D3100. In general, a very good lens, but with such a price of 2 times more than 1.8G, you can say a very ordinary everyday lens. For the price: the sharpness is normal, there is no ringing, the autofocus is not very good, the incomprehensible lens motor is designed for a camera with a screwdriver. I tested it with Zenith 44 \ 4 and a washer from alliekspress, on aperture 2.0, it has one plus that I wrote above - Zenith is more faded and there is no motor…

Pros
  • Everyone is good, if not one big but . You can especially highlight the richness of colors
Cons
  • COST, hard to catch a moving object

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing for the money, I'm glad I chose this option.

I do wedding photography. I use nikkor 35mm 2.0 D., nikkor 85 1/4 D cameras D700 and D3. in apartments 85 is often too much. 50 just right. And so, having worked at several weddings with 50 mm, I understood. that it is suitable ONLY for the bride's preparations and in the registry office. He extremely dislikes even the slightest movement of objects. so it starts to stutter. sometimes thoughts were to sell it and buy a D version. I do not dissuade him from buying. But I repeat, it is only for…

Pros
  • Excellent lens in everything except autofocus.
Cons
  • The only drawback. autofocus is calm, NOT fast like on the D version, but I can say this for sure since I have a nikkor 35mm 2.0 D.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best I ever used, recommend it to everybody.

I put it on the budget D3100. Shoots great. Regarding the "crying of Yaroslavna" that he does not shoot on the D3100 - complete nonsense. You need to read the instructions. There, the depth of field scale is written in black and white. I was pleased with the autofocus - in low light it aimed very briskly and (horror) accurately. Blurs great. The autofocus fine-tuning ring pleased. Wide. The only negative is that the lens hood, worn in the stowed position, does not allow you to manually work…

Pros
  • Light, clarity, fast autofocus
Cons
  • when wearing a hood in the stowed position, it is impossible to focus manually.
