The quality is top notch and I recommend the product for purchase.

Gorgeous glass! I would advise you to take 1.4D, since it will not be inferior in quality, but even surpass 1.4 1.4D autofocus is noticeably faster, one might even say lightning fast, which cannot be said about 1.4G, whose autofocus is basically accurate, the picture changes - 1.4D is not suitable for full frame, the loss of sharpness in the corners cannot be compared with what we get at 1.4G, this is a huge pleasure, all the frames are like from the cover, juicy, contrasting, the glass is light and compact, it is also applicable to the full frame, it is able to draw any plot - be it landscape or portrait, shooting against the sun or at dusk, it always helps out, at any time of the day or night, comparing 1.4G with 1.4D:

1) Superb sharpness at f/1.4 2) Excellent edge sharpness even at full frame (Nikon D600) 3) Great colors! 4) There are no complaints about the accuracy of autofocus 5) there is a profile for the lens - it straightens perfectly even pictures taken at f / 1.4! 6) Lightweight, compact, strong 7) Produces excellent micro-contrast in photos 8) Divinely soft bokeh at open apertures 9) Video shooting on this glass is one big advantage (especially on a full frame, where it gives out honest 50mm).
