I recently purchased white Baby Deer Girls Skimmer Mary Jane Flat Skimmers for my 8 year old daughter and while the shoes are adorable I can't say they lived up to my expectations. The shoes are made of soft materials that don't irritate my child's feet, but I found them to scratch and scrape very easily. Even after wearing them several times, the shoes looked worn and dirty. On the other hand, the shoes are comfortable and easy to put on, which is a great relief when dressing a squirming toddler. Sizing also came closer so there were no fit issues. All in all, while the Baby Deer Girls Skimmer Mary Jane Flats are a cute option for dressier occasions, I wouldn't recommend them for everyday wear. They're a little fragile and require more maintenance than we'd like.
