Review on DEWALT Stainless Steel Tumbler Review: Yellow, 30 Ounce Capacity, Durable & Reliable by Nathan Vaughn

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Large yellow cup on glasses and water glasses

It's a cup! It's yellow! It's metal! But wait, that's not all! I wanted a new insulated travel mug beverage container because the 47 others I have weren't enough. And since almost all of my instruments are DeWalt (to the point of being a bit of a joke), I couldn't pass up this opportunity (though I draw a line with DeWalt socks). In this year (2018), series-produced insulating glass has achieved the overall seal of approval, just like all the others. It keeps the ice in a solid state, while smaller beverage containers would allow it to revert to a liquid state. I have yet to test this jar of hot liquids as 30 ounces of caffeinated liquid will have an adverse effect on my sleep cycle for several days. I complain about the lid. When closed, the flap closure carefully seals both the drinking and vent openings. However, there is an additional vent that is permanently open, meaning that if dropped, not only will it leave an impressive dent in what it lands on, but the second vent can allow contents to spill out. Of course they don't leak and the dent left by the mug itself will catch the spill. In the drinking position, there is a small hole in the lid (TWSS), resulting in your delicious drink being dispensed slowly and you can't put a straw into the hole, and the main opening is positioned to make contact with my nose, further disturbing the flow. However, there is a solution to this problem, the inside diameter of the cup is the same as all other jars in the 30 oz category, especially the company that starts with Y and ends with ETI. If the lid was better it would have been a solid 5 stars. Now if only they made one that used my 20 volt batteries.

Pros

Cons
  • Very expensive
