Unusual and very effective skin cleanser. It comes in solid form (in a jar) and as several flat sponges (looks like round paper disks). I was skeptical but followed the instructions and wet the glass. The disk turned into an ideal-sized sponge. I took a wet disk and rubbed it in the hard "detergent" in the can to create lather on the sponge and used it as soap to wash my face. The directions call for the lather to be left on the face for a minute and then rinsed off (which I did). DO NOT LEAVE the sponge in the jar - follow directions - leaving the sponge in the jar will ruin the sponge and leave the top layer of product discolored (and a little sticky). The product left my face clean and soft without the "dry feeling" associated with other products of this type. There was no peeling or peeling after using the product. I have reordered this product several times and have been using it for about a year. I have recommended it to several family members and they have had the same great results. By excellent results I mean my skin is clear and soft, small blemishes on my face and moderate blemishes on my back have been removed with no skin irritation. I would highly recommend the PCA Blemish Control Panel.
